Privacy

A short, practical privacy notice.

This notice explains what personal data is handled when you use softwaredev.bg, why it is needed, and the services involved. Last updated 8 August 2026.

Who is responsible

Software Dev Ltd, Sofia, Bulgaria, is the controller for personal data submitted through this website. For privacy questions or requests, use the project enquiry form and mark the message “Privacy request”.

Project enquiries

The enquiry form asks for your name, work email, an optional company or product name, and whatever project information you choose to include. This information is used only to review the enquiry, respond, discuss possible work, and keep the related business correspondence.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract and the legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Please do not include sensitive personal data or confidential material that is not needed for an initial conversation.

Formspree

Form submissions are transmitted and processed through Formspree, which acts as a service provider for the form. Formspree hosts its services on Amazon Web Services in the United States and states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR transfers. See Formspree’s security and privacy information.

Scheduling through Calendly

The scheduling button opens Calendly on a separate website. If you schedule a call, Calendly processes the contact and appointment details you submit on behalf of Software Dev Ltd. Calendly may also use cookies and collect technical data under the preferences presented on its own site. See Calendly’s privacy notice.

Hosting, security, and analytics

Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, security, and Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process technical connection and security information when serving the site. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics product does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. The site does not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels.

See Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation and privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not set optional analytics, advertising, or preference cookies. A cookie banner is therefore not shown. External services, including Calendly after you follow its link, apply their own cookie controls and privacy terms.

Retention and sharing

Enquiry data is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate possible work, maintain relevant business correspondence, and meet legal obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are ordinarily deleted within 24 months.

Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers described above, professional advisers where necessary, or public authorities when legally required. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant records may be kept for longer under contractual, accounting, or legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with Bulgaria’s Commission for Personal Data Protection.

Changes

This notice may be updated when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current revision date will remain visible at the top of this page.
